Introduction
Throughout the journey Chris McCandless pursued, he met handfuls of people have who helped him survive the wild adventure that awaited him. With the lack of preparation and the countless dedication he had to strive to his life goal, he achieves to go into depth of his in inner-self and encounters the people that have shaped his own being.

There is a word choice error instead using of "people that," you can use "people who." There doesn't isn't a specific goal that is described. The introduction seems good, but some editing should be done.
